Prevailing Church – Kenya is a Christ-centered ministry committed to advancing the Kingdom of God through the preaching of the Gospel, discipleship, prayer, worship, and compassionate service. We exist to raise disciples who passionately follow Jesus Christ and impact their generation with the transforming power of His Word.
As a church, we are dedicated to building strong believers, healthy families, vibrant communities, and a lasting legacy for Christ. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to bring hope to the hopeless, strength to the weary, and salvation to all who call upon the name of the Lord.

Bishop Dr. Josphat Mamet
Bishop Dr. Josphat Mamet is the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Prevailing Church – Kenya, a dynamic ministry committed to Advancing the Legacy of Christ Today through evangelism, discipleship, church planting, leadership development, and Kingdom transformation.
Called by God with a passion for the Gospel and a deep burden for souls, Bishop Mamet has dedicated his life to proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ and raising disciples who live out their faith with conviction and purpose. His ministry is driven by the zeal expressed in Matthew 11:12, believing that the advancement of God's Kingdom requires spiritual determination, bold faith, and unwavering commitment.
A visionary church planter, Bishop Mamet carries a strong apostolic burden to establish vibrant, Christ-centered congregations that serve as beacons of hope and centers of spiritual growth within their communities. His ministry reflects the heart of the Apostle Paul as expressed in 2 Corinthians 11:28, carrying a continual concern and responsibility for the well-being, growth, and strengthening of local churches.
Under his leadership, Prevailing Church – Kenya has continued to expand its reach through church planting, evangelistic missions, discipleship initiatives, leadership training, and community engagement. His vision remains focused on touching the un-churched and the un-reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, while equipping believers to impact their generation for God's glory.
Bishop Mamet is also an accomplished author whose writings seek to inspire spiritual growth, leadership excellence, Kingdom-minded living, and a deeper understanding of God's purpose for His people. Through his books, teachings, and mentorship, he continues to influence leaders, pastors, and believers across diverse backgrounds.
Beyond ministry, Bishop Mamet is a devoted family man who values the biblical foundation of marriage and family life. Together with his family, he exemplifies Christian faith, servant leadership, and commitment to God's calling, providing a model of godly living for both the Church and society.
As Founder and Presiding Bishop, he remains committed to building strong churches, raising faithful leaders, mentoring the next generation, and advancing God's Kingdom through the transforming power of the Gospel.

Rev. Valence Mamet
Rev. Valence Mamet is a passionate preacher of the Gospel, an inspiring teacher, and a compassionate shepherd whose life is devoted to seeing people transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. She serves as the Senior Pastor of Prevailing Church – Kenya, Rehoboth Congregation in Naiberi - Eldoret, where she faithfully leads the church in worship, discipleship, prayer, pastoral care, and community outreach. With a unique blend of ministry and professional education, Rev. Valence has dedicated her life to nurturing both the spiritual and personal growth of individuals. As a professional teacher, she has spent many years shaping young minds while faithfully serving the Body of Christ. Her passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom into the church, where she is committed to equipping believers with biblical truth and practical Christian living. Known for her warm heart, wisdom, and servant leadership, Rev. Valence has a special burden for families, women, children, and the next generation. Her ministry is marked by compassionate pastoral care, fervent prayer, sound biblical teaching, and a desire to see every believer discover their God-given purpose and grow into spiritual maturity. Together with her husband, Bishop Dr. Josphat Mamet, the Presiding Bishop of Prevailing Church – Kenya, she is helping "Advancing the Legacy of Christ Today." Their shared mission is to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom, plant Christ-centered churches, raise godly leaders, and transform communities through the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Rev. Valence believes that every person has a divine purpose and that the Church is called to be a place where faith is strengthened, lives are restored, and destinies are shaped. Secretary General
Rev. Paul Kimaiywa, SG
Rev. Paul Kimaiywa serves as the Secretary General (SG) of Prevailing Church – Kenya, where he provides faithful administrative and spiritual leadership in advancing the vision and mission of the ministry. Renowned for his integrity, diligence, and servant-hearted leadership, he has become a dependable pillar within the church, helping to strengthen its governance, organization, and growth. He also serves as the Regional Overseer for Baringo Region, offering pastoral oversight, mentoring ministers, nurturing congregations, and fostering unity among churches under his care. His unwavering commitment to biblical leadership and Kingdom advancement has significantly contributed to the expansion and strengthening of the ministry in the region. A devoted family man, Rev. Kimaiywa is happily married to Pastor Veronica Kimaiywa, and together they are blessed with children. Their home reflects a shared commitment to Christ, ministry, and raising a godly family that exemplifies Christian values. Guided by humility, prayer, and a passion for discipleship, Rev. Paul Kimaiywa continues to serve faithfully alongside the Founder and Presiding Bishop, making a lasting impact through his leadership, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to the work of God.

Pastor Gilbert Rono
Pastor Gilbert Rono, Acting Deputy SG. Pastor Rono is a humble and devoted servant of God, faithfully serving as the Acting Deputy Secretary General of Prevailing Church – Kenya and the Associate Pastor at Rehoboth Congregation, Naiberi. His life reflects a deep love for Christ, unwavering faithfulness, and a genuine passion for seeing lives transformed by the power of the Gospel. With a servant's heart and a steadfast commitment to God's calling, Pastor Gilbert ministers with wisdom, compassion, and integrity. He is passionate about preaching the uncompromised Word of God, discipling believers, mentoring emerging leaders, and strengthening the Church to fulfill its divine mandate. A dependable pillar in the ministry, Pastor Gilbert exemplifies Christ-like humility and excellence in service. Through his dedication, he continues to inspire hope, encourage spiritual growth, and empower God's people to walk boldly in their God-given purpose, advancing the Kingdom of God one life at a time.
